Vivid Seats issue has this John Mayer fan singing the blues

Dear John: I recently experienced a disheartening situation with Vivid Seats. I purchased two tickets to a John Mayer concert on July 25 at Madison Square Garden. The tickets cost $634.74, and I also purchased the insurance for an additional $38.95. When my friend and I went to the concert I was told by the main ticket scanner that my tickets were already scanned, and therefore invalid. When I called Vivid Seats to discuss this situation, I was only offered a nominal credit for $140 towards a future ticket purchase. Repeatedly I called and was treated as though I was making a false claim.
