DoorDash sued after Las Vegas restaurateur allegedly stabbed by driver

DoorDash has been slapped with yet another lawsuit over allegations that one of its food-delivery drivers violently attacked a client. A Las Vegas restaurateur claims he nearly lost his life when a driver for the San Francisco-based delivery giant stabbed him multiple times in his back and below his ribs with a pocket knife. To make matters worse, the suit filed this week claims that the since-dismissed DoorDash driver — who is now awaiting trial on attempted murder charges in Nevada — got hired despite doing stints in prison for crimes that included armed robbery.
