‘Good Boys’ shatters box office expectations on opening weekend

The movie “Good Boys,” is shattering box office expectations. The film could make a total of $20.8 million on opening weekend, Variety reported. Friday night’s premiere brought in $8.3 million alone in ticket sales. Apparently, experts only expected a yield of $12 to $15 million, says the entertainment source. “Good Boys” is now the first R-rated comedy to come in number one since 2016’s “The Boss.” Variety says that if ticket sale numbers stay on this trend, “Good Boys” could be the best original comedy opening of the year.
