Grieving mom’s message in a bottle washes ashore

A bottle containing a heartbreaking message from a grieving mom to her slaughtered teen traveled 2,500 miles and washed up on a beach in Italy. The letter was sent by Samantha Leczkowski, whose daughter, Sorrell, was one of the 22 people killed at the March 2017 Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, targeted by a suicide bomber. The bottle was found by a man who was cleaning the shore in Pozzo Pasulo, in the southern Italian region of Apulia. Enclosed with a beautiful picture of 14-year-old Sorrell, the message inside read: “Your absence is a pain in the heart that never leaves.
