US Open’s leading amateur has no problem missing graduation

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — Brandon Wu is scheduled to graduate from Stanford on Sunday, but he has other plans: attempting to finish as the low amateur in the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
