Giants’ underdog Grant Haley is fighting new names for his job

As he was asked about the new defensive backs’ room, a defiant smile and an aura of confidence swept across cornerback Grant Haley’s face, contemplating his newfound positional battle. “There’s a lot of competition in that room,” Haley said. “Young guys, older guys, we’re as strong as our weakest link.” Haley had to fight his way onto the Giants roster last year, signing as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State.
